Chantico is a web app. It works on any web-enabled device, no app store required.

You can still install the app, which will give you better performance and limited off-line functionality.

iOS: From Safari, tap the "Share" button, then select "Add to Home Screen."

Android: From Chrome, tap the 3-dot menu icon, and select "Add to Home Screen."

Chantico is the Aztec diety of home and hearth. We chose this name because our methodology is focused on strengthening the home, not just getting chores done.

Treating your family like a job creates discord. Also, chores are just a part of the bigger allowance picture.

Anyone with an email can sign in on their own.

If someone doesn't have an email (or you don't want to give it us), an adult can sign them in.

First, assigning chores removes your team's agency. Chores become something that is done to them, instead of something to help your team.

Second, it creates competition for chores. Anyone can take out the garbage, and you don't have to yell at Billy. The leaderboard will keep everyone honest.

Third, it allows more flexible chore completion.

Maybe Sally's been busy all week, and the rest of the team have picked up the slack. Now she has time, and can knock several items off the list.

You can still hold your team to task. If Billy wants to play Call of Duty, he needs to catch up on the leaderboard first.
